EVIAN MASTERS GOLF CLUB
You probably think of bottled water when you hear the word Evian. It is better known to some though as the venue for the Evian Masters Ladies Competition every July.
It is a course that we love to play in Winter when our own course is shut due to snow. Situated on the southern shores of Lake Geneva, Evian offers stunning views across the lake to Lausanne, Montreux and beyond into the Jura mountains.
This par 72 6223 yds (5691m) course is quite tricky and with a slope of 141, a golfer playing off hcp 10 gets 13 shots.
Evian also offers a full training facility - 37 acres of golfing terrain designed by a team of specialists (architects, players, champions and golf pro). The Évian Masters Training Center concentrates into 12 different modules every conceivable golfing experience and every subtlety that a championship course can offer.
8 training modules reproduce all the situations of a real course and enable you to perfect your game on one type of shot by reproducing the movement as many times as required. 4 course holes offering 3 levels of difficulty enable both beginners and experienced golfers to rapidly test their progress in a real-game situation
