Won't there be snow everywhere?
Don't be daft! The Chamonix course which is at about 1050m altitude is clear of snow from about April to November and is open to play from May to November.
How much are green fees?
Low season, when we are running our golf breaks, green fees are cheaper. Here's a rough guide to weekday prices... Chamonix 47€, Megeve 36€, Evian 70€, Giez 52€, Sion 73€. Not to bad but Crans Montana is a whopping 112€. A lot of money but a once in a lifetime opportunity to play a European Tour course.
What size groups do you cater for?
The chalet sleeps 12 and the minibus has 9 seats so a good group size is 8. This means one of us can come along and play to. Larger and smaller groups can always be accommodated though. There are plenty of other places to stay and we have lots of golf friends with minibuses too.
Weather is generally good, sunny and warm. A normal temperature in the day is about 25 deg. C so very comfortable. We mostly play in shorts but you should consider bringing wet weather gear as showers are not unknown.
