Megeve
Megeve is a classic Alpine course built on man made terraces that wind up the mountain side and back down again. Situated at an altitude of 1,320m, you can expect your drives to be 10 to 15% longer than your course at home because of the thin air. The course designed by Henry Cotton in 1964 and is host each winter to the famous "Snowgolf" competition which we are playing in this year. Yes you heard it right - golf on snow. The fairways are pisted like a ski piste make them hard and apparently the greens are smooth as you like and you can putt as on grass. It's our first time so wish us luck.
